DroneAid Lisbon (DALX) is a community of proactive people in Lisbon united to help Ukraine through drones.

Our mission is to support the front lines with drones and strengthen Ukraine's advocacy abroad through concrete actions:

• we share experience and knowledge about modern technologies with participants at our DIY workshops
• we assemble drones and deliver them to Ukrainian defenders in specific units
• we keep the focus on the war in Ukraine and spread pro-Ukrainian messages among local and international communities

Since March 2025, our Lisbon community has been fulfilling requests from military units — SUM, 103rd, 68th, 115th, Azov, and Phoenix, serving on the Donetsk and Sumy fronts in Ukraine.

🎗️ How We Work

</aside>

1. We collect requests from Ukrainian defenders on the frontline — we support several units with their specific fpv-drone needs
2. Gather donations to purchase high-quality drone components and batteries from trusted suppliers
3. Organize workshops — providing space, tools, knowledge, and guidance to help you learn new tech skills and assemble drones
4. Test, pack, and ship the drones you built to defenders in Ukraine
5. Receive feedback, make improvements, and repeat again!

All our work is fully volunteer-based. We're a team of people with full-time jobs who invest our free time, skills, and passion to help Ukraine defend itself.

We're grateful to work alongside wonderful partners — Ukrainian organizations and local businesses — who generously provide workspace, resources, and informational support.

Thanks to their help, 100% of donations can go directly toward purchasing drone parts and tools that save lives on the front lines.

🚁 Types of Drones We Build

At our workshops, every drone we build serves a clear purpose — our drones are used for reconnaissance, delivery of water or medical supplies to hot zones, and supporting other urgent missions. Once you learn to assemble drones with us, you'll be able to build them for many other purposes, such aerial photography, search and rescue operations, agricultural tasks, racing, and much more.

10" Relay FPV Drones

10’’ FPV drones are fast, precise, built for tactical missions.

• Capacity: Up to 3.5 kg
• Max speed: 100 km/h
• Cruise speed: 60km/h
• Range: 15+ km

13" Optical Drones

All our drones are assembled from the highest quality components from trusted manufacturers, including Pilotix and other industry-leading suppliers.

Our workshops teach essential drone assembly skills through hands-on experience. We work side by side in a friendly, supportive atmosphere: focused, but relaxed. We usually hold 1-2 workshops per month on Sundays.
